Printer Setup and Support

  First, check if your Brother printer is turned off or in Sleep mode. If it is turned off, press the Power button on the printer's control panel to turn it on. If it in sleep or hibernate mode, hit the Home button. If your device runs on the Windows 7 OS, click the Start menu and type 'printers' in the search box. Press the Enter key and choose the Devices and Printers option from the search result to access your printer settings. Locate your printer in the Printers and Faxes section and give a right-click on it. Next, select the Set as default printer option from the pop-up menu. Doing so will fix the problem. Tap the Black, Color or Send button to start sending the fax. Print a fax report and check if the fax is sent successfully.
