HP Officejet Pro 8710 Fax Setup

 

  1. Take the telephone cord provided by the HP Officejet Pro 8710 Printer Driver Setup manufacturer and connect its one end to the phone’s wall jack and the other end to the 1-LINE jack of the printer.
  2. Now take another phone cord to link it from the answering machine to the 2-EXT port on the rear of your printer.
  3. With the help of HP Software, set or change the faxing preferences under the Fax Setup Wizard.
  4. To check if the set up was successful, run a fax test from your printer’s control panel with the Run Fax Test or Fax Test Report option.
  5. Keep a plain blank paper in the input tray. Insert the document into the ADF tray that you intend to fax.
  6. Keep the phone line free and dial the fax number from your printer along with the area code.
  7. Tap the Send, Color or Black button to send the fax and wait for a fax report to confirm that the fax is successful.
