Before you start to implement the scan function, connect your printer and computer to the same network of your router or access point. Ensure that you have installed the Scan Manager software on your computer. Open the Printer Settings option. Open an internet browser on your computer and type the IP address of your printer in the search field. Click the Search button. Go to the Machine Settings tab and click the E-mail Setup menu. Configure the SMTP Server credentials in the E-mail Setup screen. Tap Apply after configuring the settings. Now you can start scanning your document.
