Start the wireless setup connection by gathering the information like network name, network password, a computer with a wireless network, and internet access. HP recommends broadband Internet access such as a cable or DSL for software downloads, using Web Service, and getting printer updates. The security pin is also known as the WEP key or WPA security passphrase. Ensure that your computer and router are turned on and that the pc connected to the same wireless network to which your printer is linked. Turn on the printer. Keep it close to the computer and within range of the router during the setup process. Detach any USB or Ethernet cables from the printer if connected.
