Pull the ink cartridge up to remove it from the slot. Hold the ink cartridges by its sides. Check the ink cartridge contact area for ink or debris build up.

Moisten a clean foam rubber swab with distilled water, and then squeeze the cloth for the excess water to come from it. Clean the edges and face around the ink nozzles with a swab. Let the cleaned area get dried completely. Then place the removed ink cartridge into their respective slots.

Close the ink cartridge lid so that the cartridge falls into the respective slot. Repeat the above-mentioned steps to clean the area around the ink nozzle.
