123 HP ENVY 4523 PRINTER INSTALLATION

 HP Envy 4523 is a multi-tasking printer that uses the drop-on-demand thermal inkjet printing technology to perform the print operation over a wireless connection or using a USB cable connection. This printer uses 2 ink cartridges --- Black and Tri-color --- to deliver high-quality print outputs. This article explains the HP Envy 4523 printer installation process.


If you’re going to set up a new HP Envy 4523 printer, then unpack the printer package. After clearing all the packing materials, connect your printer to an electrical outlet and then turn ON the printer. Set the basic preferences such as language and country/region as per your desire. When prompted, open the input tray door of the printer. Extend the paper guides, get a stack of paper, and load it on the tray. Move the paper guides towards the paper edge. Make sure not to overload the paper in the tray. Now, open the ink cartridge access door of your HP printer and keep it ready to install the ink cartridges. 


Unpack the black and tri-color ink cartridges. Place the cartridges into their slots. After inserting the ink cartridges correctly, close the cartridge access door. Now, your HP printer will automatically print an alignment page. If the alignment page is not printed, then select Setup on your printer’s control panel and choose Tools > Align Printer. Once the printer prints the alignment page, scan it to align the ink cartridges. Place the alignment page on the printer’s control panel and press OK.  


The HP Envy 4523 printer’s basic setup process has been completed. Now, connect your printer to a computer over a wireless network or using a USB cable.


  1. Enabling the Wi-Fi capability of your printer
  2. If you want to connect the printer over a wireless network, then you can do it using the printer’s control panel.
  3. Turn on your HP printer and the wireless router.
  4. Select the Wireless option on your printer’s control panel.
  5. Choose Settings > Wireless. Perform the prompts displayed on the screen to enable the Wi-Fi capability of your printer.
  6. Once the HP Envy 4523 printer has been connected to the wireless network, connect your computer to the same network.
  7. After connecting both the devices to the same Wi-Fi network, begin the driver installation on your computer.
  8. Complete the driver installation process by following the on-screen instructions.
  9. Finally, print a test page.

If you wish to connect your HP printer and the computer using the USB connection, then pair both the devices using the USB cable when prompted during the driver installation. After completing the printer driver installation process, print a test page.
