  1. If the print quality gives out uneven edges, make sure you use the font supported by the printer.
  2. If the print quality gives out clipped pages, move the length and the width guide of the paper tray to the edges of the paper.
  3. Restart the print job.

The best way to resolve any printing problem is to reinstall the cartridges.

  1. Open the front door of the Lexmark C544dn setup.
  2. Take out each of the cartridges from the slot.
  3. Shake the cartridges to redistribute the toner.
  4. See if the cartridges are still having some life, if not replace the cartridges with standard Lexmark cartridges.
  5. Gently push the cartridges back into their respective slots.
  6. Close the front door of the Lexmark printer.
  7. Restart the print job.
  8. If you are still facing the printing problem, check if the printer is facing any paper jams or any errors in the paper tray and clear them.
