Using AirPrint, you can print from your iOS device wirelessly.
Before configuring the AirPrint settings:
Check whether your Apple device supports AirPrint because the Mac OS X 10.6 and older versions do not support AirPrint.
Make sure that the AirPrint-supporting applications like Mail, Photos, PDFs in iBooks, and Safari are installed on your iOS mobile.
Switch on the HP printer and check the hardware connections.
Connect the printer to the wireless network using the printer control panel.
Make sure to connect the iOS device to the same wireless network.
Download and install the latest firmware update for your printer on Mac and Restart the HP printer.
Select the document you want to print, click Print, and choose the printer name. The document will be printed
Setting up the AirPrint on Mac:
Open the default web browser and enter the IP address of the printer in the URL to open the Embedded Web Server(EWS).
Navigate to the Networking tab and select the Wireless Direct Setup option on the left-side panel.
Type the name of the printer in the SSID field and click on the Apply button to save the printer's name for quick access.
Now, configure AirPrint for the iOS device on the printer’s control panel.
Tap the Wireless menu and select Wireless Direct.
Make sure that the printer’s AirPrint name is displayed in the printer’s Wi-Fi network list.
On your Mac, click on the Apple menu.
Select System Preferences --> Print&Scan --> Nearby Printers.
Choose the name of your printer under the Nearby printers list.
Click Print Using --> AirPrint --> Add.
AirPrint will be selected automatically. If not, select the driver manually.
Finally, the AirPrint setup is completed successfully on your device.
