  1. If you have downloaded the full-feature driver for your HP Officejet 2622 printer, you should have downloaded even the HP Print and Scan Doctor, the self-diagnostic tool.
  2. Run the .exe file of the tool and install it on your computer.
  3. This tool helps you fix the printing and scanning issues with the printer.
  4. After the tool is launched, choose Fix Printing issues and click on Next.
  5. With the instructions that appear on the computer screen, complete the diagnosis.
  6. If there is a problem found in the network connection, the tool fixes on its own.
  7. If manual intervention is required, then the tool prompts for the user action.
