Mac Not Connecting To Wifi
Solutions For The Problem:
Update the Mac software
There are two ways to update the macOS, and both are given below.
Click the Apple menu on the upper left corner of the dock and select System Preferences.
Next, choose the Software Update menu. If you find any update in the window, then update the software.
Another way is to open the App Store and select the Update button beside the software update available.
See the Wi-Fi recommendations
Click the Wi-Fi connection icon on the Status menu bar at the upper right corner of the screen.
See if your Wi-Fi network name appears in the list of Wi-Fi networks.
Restart the router
Sometimes, when the router faces technical problems, it cannot provide the necessary network connection.
Disconnect the router and reconnect it.
Power on the router and retry to connect the Mac device to the Wi-Fi network.
Turn off the other services
If you are using the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct feature on Mac, then the system may not detect the Wi-Fi network.
Disable Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, screen projection, etc., before you try to connect to the wireless network.
Disconnect network cable
In case you have connected the Ethernet cable to the Mac device, then remove it and again retry to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
The Wi-Fi disables when the Ethernet network cable is connected to the device.
Remove the network
Under the Apple menu, select System Preferences and then click the Network option.
When the Network window opens up, find your Wi-Fi router network name and click it.
Now, select the ‘minus’ symbol below the Wi-Fi network list to remove the Wi-Fi network.
If the system prompts, click Remove, then select OK to save the settings.
Reboot both your Mac computer and router, and verify whether the issue is solved.
