Install HP Pagewide Pro 577DW

 Unbox the printer from the carton and remove the other accessories provided along with the printer. You will find the following accessories:

Installation CD

Color cartridges

Power cord

User manual and Installation manual.

Remove the protective tapes surrounding the printer.

If you wish to have a wired network connection to the computer, take out the Ethernet cable from the sealed packaging and insert it into the slot of the printer.

Take out the power cord from the sealed packaging, connect it between the printer and the power source.

Turn the HP Pagewide Pro 577DW printer ON.

The printer control panel will now light up. This is where you have to start the setup process by selecting the language, date and time, and the country.

Open the front panel of the printer and if you find any protective tapes and packaging, remove them.

On the right, remove the cartridge slot and install the color cartridges.

Take out each cartridge from the sealed packaging and slowly insert each cartridge to its respective slot and close the front panel. This is the initial setup to install HP Pagewide Pro 577DW printer.

Remove the bottom tray from the printer.

Insert a stack of plain paper in the paper tray and move the paper guides to the edges of the paper.

Make sure not to move the guides too close as it might lead to paper jams while performing the print job.

The Initial set up is now finished.

Proceed to download the driver for the printer.

Open the default browser on your computer and enter the URL for the official HP support page.

Enter the printer model number in the search box and go to the printer’s support page.

Select the Software, Drivers & Firmware option.

The list of available drivers for your operating system will be displayed. However, you have the option to change the operating system as well.

Click on the driver package and download it to your computer.

Once downloaded, run the installer file, choose your printer, and select the appropriate connection type.

Complete the installation with the help of the instructions displayed on the setup wizard.

Finally, print a test page from the computer to verify the printer connection.
