Install HP Laserjet Pro M479FDW

     Unbox the printer from the carton and take out the accessories from it. The accessories provided along with the printer are listed below.

Keep the printer aside and make sure it is close to the router.

Remove the protective tapes surrounding the control panel and the other parts of the printer.

Open the paper tray and slide the paper guides to the corners.

Insert a stack of paper in the tray, move the paper guides closer to the paper, and close the paper tray.

Unpack the power cable from the sealed packaging, connect it to the back end of the printer, and connect the other end of the power cord to the power source.

Press the power button located at the center right of the printer to turn it on.

In the printer control panel, set the date, time, and the country.

Later on, verify the printer settings by printing the network configuration page to install HP Laserjet Pro M479FDW printer.

Press the Gear icon on the Control Panel, navigate to the Reports menu, and select the option Printer Configuration Report.

Now, you have to complete the installation by downloading and installing the software for your HP Laserjet printer.

Open a web browser and enter the official HP Support website URL in the address bar. Hit the Enter button.

On the official HP page, you will see a search box where you must enter the printer model number.

On the printer’s support page, select the Software, Drivers & Firmware option.

Select the type of operating system and click the Enter button.

The available drivers will be listed on the page.

Click on the required driver package to download it to your computer.

Double-click on the downloaded driver file to begin the installation.

Now, you have to go on with the onscreen instructions.

The driver will be installed on your computer.

Once install HP Laserjet Pro M479FDW printer, perform a test print on your HP LaserJet Pro M479DW printer from the computer.
