Find WPS Pin on HP Envy 5540

 

  •     Check the sticker on the router at the printer’s rear to get the WPS pin.
  • Check the email containing the WPS pin/password from the manufacturer.
  • Get the IP address of the router by printing an Information page.
  • Open a browser on the laptop and type the IP address in the address field.
  • Click Search and the EWS page of the router opens.
  • Access the Configuration menu or the Utility menu.
  • Go to the Advanced menu and click on the Password box.
  • The WPS password appears on the screen.
  • Note down the PIN and use it while setting up a WPS connection.

Mac devices cannot connect over a WPS connection. In that case, use Apple Airprint to connect the 123.hp.com/envy5540 printer and the Mac device on a WPS network.
