How to Install HP Envy 5640 Printer


  1. Check if the HP Envy 5640 printer box is sealed properly before opening it.
  2. Unseal the box and check if the printer components are provided in it.
  3. Take the HP Envy 5640 printer from the box and remove the plastic cover from it.
  4. Keep the printer on a plane dust-free surface.
  5. Peel off the blue-colored protective tapes on the printer.
  6. Remove the packing materials from inside and outside of the HP Envy 5640 printer.
  7. Take a bunch of paper and tap on an even surface. Open the paper tray by pulling it.
  1. Place the paper in the paper tray. Fix the sheets by adjusting the paper width guides.
  2. Unpack the power cable provided in the printer package. Connect the cable to the corresponding port of the HP Envy 5640 printer and power supply.
  3. Turn on the printer. When the control panel enables, configure your preferences on it.
  4. Unpack the ink cartridges given in the printer package.
  5. Open the cartridge access door at the top of the HP Envy 5640 printer.
  6. Insert the cartridges into the respective slots.
  7. Close the access door, and arrange the cartridges.
  8. Install the printer software on your computer and complete the HP Envy 5640 Setup.
