123 HP OFFICEJET PRO 9015 SETUP

 HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is an All-in-One printer that supports double-sided printing. It also supports wireless connectivity and is compatible with Apple AirPrint. This printer can also be used to print cards and envelopes.


The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer contains an ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) with a capacity of 35 sheets. The printer produces excellent quality printouts and it is a result of the HP Thermal Inkjet technology used by the printer.


To set up your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer, you have to perform both the hardware and software installation. Let us first look into the hardware setup.


Unboxing the printer:

The first step will be to open the printer box.

Your next step is to take out the small box of HP Instant Ink cartridges. Also, take out your printer documents. 

From the inside, take out the Setup Poster, the HP Instant Ink Card, and the Quick Reference Guide.

Using both the handles, you have to pull the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer out of its box.

Remove the power cable from this box and set it aside. You will have to use it later.

From both sides of your printer, take out the Styrofoam end caps. 

Take out all the packing materials, including the blue tape, from in and around your HP printer.


Powering on the printer:

Take the power cable and connect one of its ends to the port at the rear end of your HP printer.

Plug the other end of the power cable into an electrical outlet. You will find that your printer turns on automatically.


Choosing the language:

Turn your attention to the printer control panel. Select the desired language on this panel and then touch the Confirm button.

Choose your country/region and touch the Confirm button.

You will now find a prompt on the printer control panel to install the ink cartridges.


Installing the ink cartridges:

Once you see the prompt to install the ink cartridges, open the front door of the printer. Then, lift the cartridge access door.

Take out the HP Instant Ink Ready Setup cartridges from their boxes.

Now, you need to match the cartridges to the respective slots in the carriage. For this purpose, make use of the colors for reference. The colors will be Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black.

Take a cartridge, hold it by its sides, and then push it into its slot until you find it click into its place.

Repeat the procedure for installing the other three cartridges and then close the cartridge access door.

You can now close the front door of your HP printer.

Turn your attention to the printer control panel. Touch the OK button on the control panel to confirm the installation of the cartridges.

Loading paper into the printer:

First, slide out the main paper tray from the printer.

Dispose of the cardboard restraint from the tray.

Gently slide the paper guides to their outermost positions.

Start loading plain, letter-sized paper into the main paper tray of the HP printer.

You can now adjust the paper guides so that they touch the stack of paper you have loaded.

Slide the paper tray inside.

Touch the OK button on the printer control panel.


The hardware setup part is now completed. Next, you need to install the printer software on your computer. That will be the second part of your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 setup.


Software Installation:

Navigate to the HP website --- 123.hp.com.

Enter the model of your HP printer in the appropriate space. Then, click on the Next button.

On the page that is displayed, click on the Download button. This action will start downloading the software for your printer model.

Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to finish downloading the software for your operating system.

Once the software is downloaded, run the installer and you can easily install it on your computer by following the instructions displayed.


The software installation is now complete. Your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is all set up and ready for use.
