If the issue is with copying, then first check if the device is turned on. Check if you have loaded appropriate and enough paper. Ensure that you are not performing the copy task when your printer is doing another job. Clean the dust on ADF if any, else, reset your printing system. If the issue is scan related, then check if your printer has connected to a network. Try enabling the Scan to Computer feature on your printer’s control panel if you have linked to a Windows system. Reboot the router, printer, and computer and see if you can scan. If you are performing the scan using an application, close it and then open; try to Scan now .
