Printer Setup and Support

Step 1: Take out the HP Officejet 8740 printer from its box. Remove the wrappers over the HP Officejet 8740 printer carton and open it. Take out the HP Officejet printer from the box and keep it on your desk. Make sure that the desk is clean before placing it. Remove the protecting tapes and packing materials from the printer. Raise the scanner lid at the top of the HP Officejet Pro 8740 Setup. Remove the packing material and close the lid. Step 2: Attach the power cable and set your preferences. Take the power cable given in the box and remove it from the package. Attach an end of the cable to the electrical port of the printer and power supply directly. Power on the HP Officejet Pro 8740 printer by force pressing its power key. On the control panel of the Officejet printer, choose your language and country. Also, set the date and time.
