123 HP OFFICEJET PRO 8610 SETUP

 The HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer uses the thermal inkjet printing technology to perform the print operation. Scan, Copy, and Fax are the other printer-related operations performed by this printer. You can use wired, wireless, or USB connection to connect your printer to the network. Automatic busy redial, TWAIN-compliant interface, and black-and-white faxes are the highlighting features of this printer. Quick setup guide


If you’re going in to set up the HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer for the first time, then unpack it completely. 

Make sure to remove all the packing materials surrounding the printer. 

After removing the packing tapes, install the paper tray. If required/necessary, install tray-2 into your printer. 

Now, connect the printer to an electrical outlet using the power cord. Power on the HP printer. By following the instructions displayed on the printer’s LCD screen, set the basic settings as per your needs and desire. 

Take the Tray 1 completely out of your printer. Adjust the slide edges. Place a stack of A4 paper in the tray. 

Adjust the guides correctly and place the tray back into the printer. If required, load paper in Tray 2 also. 

Now, open the ink cartridge access door of your HP printer. 

Unpack the ink cartridges and insert them into their slots. Close the ink cartridge access door. 


Install the HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer software


You can connect this printer via a wireless, wired, or a USB cable connection. If you’re looking to set up your HP printer over the USB cable connection, then carry out the following instructions.


USB Setup

First, make sure that your HP printer and the computer are not connected. 

Open the HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer driver on your computer. Perform the instructions displayed on the screen. 

When prompted, choose the USB option as the connection type. Complete the printer driver installation process by following the on-screen instructions. Finally, try a test print. 


Wireless Setup (Windows)


If you’ve already configured your HP printer for a USB cable connection, and now you wish to change it to wireless, then first install the HP Smart app on your Windows computer. 

After installing the app, open it. Click the Learn More command line beside the Make printing easier by connecting your printer wirelessly message.

Proceed with the steps as shown on the screen. 

Once the HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer setup process has been completed, try a test print.
