123 HP Officejet 3830 Printer Setup
The HP OfficeJet 3830 is a single function color printer with duplex, Wi-Fi, and network printing technologies. This particular HP printer is of a professional quality that gives out seamless printing options. Considering the mobile printing feature, they are way out of the chart and you can seamlessly print documents, photos, etc., from your smartphone, iPad, or any other device when it is connected to the same network.
We will now see the simple steps to set up the HP OfficeJet 3830 printer.
- Unbox the carton and take out the accessories provided along with the HP OfficeJet 3830 printer. Remove the protective tapes that are surrounding the printer.
- Take out the power cord from the sealed packaging and then connect it to the rear end of the printer. Connect the plug of the power cord to the power source. Then press the Power button located on the left side of the printer to turn on the printer. The printer’s control panel will light up when it is ready.
- Select the Language from the display and then press the OK button or the option.
- Raise the paper input tray from the back of the printer. While loading paper in the printer, make sure the stack of paper is aligned. Also, there should be no damages or cuts on the paper as it may cause printing problems. Make sure the edge guides are not holding the paper too tight.
- Now, open the front access door of the HP OfficeJet printer to install the ink cartridges. Take out the cartridges from the sealed packaging, remove the protective tape covering the filament of the cartridge, and then insert the cartridges into their slots until you hear it click into place.
- Close the access door of the printer.

- Open the default browser on your computer and go to the official support page of your printer. Click the Software, Drivers and Firmware tab on the left side of the page. The driver page will open now.
- Expand the driver option. Select the Operating System and its version from the drop-down list seen on the page.
- Download the printer driver from the recommended drivers list.
- Once you have downloaded the printer driver, perform a double-click on the driver installer and proceed with the installation.
- Follow the onscreen prompts and finally choose the type of connection from the list. Finally, print a test page to complete the HP Officejet 3830 printer setup.
