HP Officejet Pro 3620 Fax Setup

 

  1. Unpack the telephone cable provided in the printer package.
  2. Connect an end of the cable to the phone wall jack and the other end to the 1-LINE jack at the back of the printer.
  3. For connecting with the answering machine, link the phone cable to the machine and 2-EXT jack at the rear of your printer.
  4. Configure the fax configurations and preferences.
  5. You can set the configurations in the software of the printer, or related option on the printer’s control panel.
  6. Call the recipient and intimate them regarding the fax.
  7. Place the document you intend to fax on the scanner glass.
  8. Ensure the phone line is not in use.
  9. Dial the receiving fax number.
  10. Finally, tap the Black, Color, or Send button to fax the document.
