HP OJ5740 BLANK PAGE ERROR

 Step 1:To check the estimated ink levels

  •    Make sure that you use genuine HP 5740 ink cartridges
  •    Insert plain white paper in the paper tray.
  •    Check the estimated ink levels. If you find that the cartridges are not low on ink, you need not replace them.
  •    If you find that the cartridges are low or empty, replace them by following the on-screen instructions.

Step 2:To align the printer

  •    You need to make sure that the 123.hp.com/oj5740 printer is turned on, the paper is loaded and then lift the printer lid.
  •    Now, place the alignment page on with the printed-side down on the right-front corner of the scanner glass.
  •    Shut the lid, then press OK to complete the alignment and wait for the printer to scan the alignment sheet.

Step 3: To use an automated tool to clean the printhead

  •    If you have printing issues it indicates that the printhead might be clogged. Insert plain white paper in the input tray.
  •    Now, tap the button next to the Setup icon in the lower-left corner of the control panel.
  •    Now, tap the button next to the Setup icon in the lower-left corner of the control panel.
  •    Tap the Right Arrow button to select Tools and then tap the Right Arrow button to select Clean Printhead and then select OK.
