HP Officejet Pro 6830 Not Printing

 

  1. If you have changed the print color setting as Print only in Color, then the printer might not print black ink.
  2. Check the print job settings and ensure that you change the mode as required.
  3. If you are running out of black ink and the printer is not printing, then turn the mode to Grayscale, and then try to print.
  4. At this point, the printer makes use of the tri-color cartridge to print the black ink (but you cannot print color in this mode).
  5. Replace the faulty or empty ink cartridge with a new one and check if you can print the black text.
  6. If the ink is full but the printer is not printing the black ink alone, then reset the ink level and try to print.
  7. Note that using the refilled ink cartridges if any may not let you print sometimes.
