Step 1: Ensure that the scan software has been installed on the destination computer. Check if your printer can communicate with the destination computer.

Step 2: You may be asked to enter a PIN if the system requires it. To assign a computer name & a PIN to the PC, tap the Help option for the printer software associated with the operating system.

Step 3: First, keep the original document in the Automatic Document Feeder. You can also use the scanner glass if the Lexmark printer does not support the Automatic Document Feeder. Alter the paper width guides to the original position.

Step 9: Compose the email message and if the email program does not automatically open, you can also scan the document to the system and send it to the email as an attachment.
