 You can Install HP Driver without printer connected to a system without connecting a printer. It is possible when the printer is added to the list of available devices previously. Now, without the help of a printer, you can install the driver again for the same printer. Adding the printer’s name to the list is an easy process.   • Choose the Devices option. On the screen, you can view the list of available devices. You can view your printer’s name in that list.
  • Select the printer’s name and then again click Add to include the printer to the existing network. Now the printer’s name is included.
  • Start the installation process for the printer either using a software installation CD or download it from the website.
  • In case the existing driver is not available on the website, you can use only the software installation CD.
  • It contains the required driver of your printer. Place the CD into the computer’s disc drive. Locate the setup file in the list of contents.
  • Choose the setup file and double-click on it. Based on the operating system, the setup file differs. Choose the appropriate one.
  • Once you have started the installation process, select the Custom option to avoid the installation of unwanted applications.
  • It is better to use a basic driver for the printer . It takes very less amount of memory and file size when compared to the other drivers.
