  • Before you start to implement the scan function, connect your printer and computer to the same network of your router or access point.
  • Ensure that you have installed the Scan Manager software on your computer.
  • Open the Printer Settings option.
  • Open an internet browser on your computer and type the IP address of your printer in the search field. Click the Search button.
  • Go to the Machine Settings tab and click the E-mail Setup menu.
  • Configure the SMTP Server credentials in the E-mail Setup screen.
  • Tap Apply after configuring the settings.
  • Now you can start scanning your document.
