Ensure that the HP Envy photo 6220 printer and computer are linked to the same network. Download and install the HP Scan app on your computer. If you download the current version of the full-feature printer software, the HP Scan app HP Envy Photo 6220 Setup automatically. Keep the document or picture you need to scan on the scanner glass of the printer. Click the Start menu on your computer’s screen. Type HP in the search bar and choose the name of your printer. The HP Printer Assistant window opens. Click Scan a Document or Photo . Preview the scanned document and edit it if needed. Finally, tap OK or Scan icon to scan your document or picture.
