HP Officejet 5255 Won't Scan

 

  1. Get the HP Scan Extended software on your laptop.
  2. Double-click the software and select the Allow Once Option.
  3. Click Yes on the pop-up window and wait until the software installs.
  4. Go to the Start menu and then navigate to the All Programs menu.
  5. Select HP > HP Scan Extended > Run “HP Scan Extended”.
  6. Click the + sign to expand the Scan tab on the upcoming screen.
  7. Customize the HP Officejet 5255 Setup printer scan settings and then quit the menu.
