HP DeskJet 1112 Factory Reset

 The HP DJ1112 printer does not embed a control panel and so factory resetting the printer is not possible.

  1. As an alternative, you can perform a hard reset on the printer.
  2. Power off the printer and halt until the printer turns idle.
  3. Unplug the power cable from the printer’s power port and the power outlet.
  4. Wait for few minutes and then reestablish the power connection.
  5. Disconnect the printer from the USB connection if connected.
  6. After a few seconds, plug the USB cable into different USB slots on both the devices.
  7. Restart the printer and initiate a print job to check if the printer prints correctly.
  8. Refer to the printer manual for a detailed description about the reset process.
