Replacing Ink Cartridge On HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401d

  1. Power up the LaserJet printer and open its front cover.
  2. Pull the cartridge out and place it on a clean paper towel.
  3. Unwrap the new toner cartridge and remove the orange tab on it.
  4. Rock the new toner cartridge back and forth to spread the toner evenly.
  5. Insert the cartridge into the printer.
  6. Close the front door.
  7. Wait for the printer to print a test page.
  8. Dial the contact number for any assistance in replacing the ink cartridge.
