Install Canon PIXMA MX492 Printer

  1. Before unpacking the printer, check if the printer box is sealed properly.
  2. Open the box and check if the printer components are provided in it.
  3. Take the Canon Pixma MX492 printer from the box and keep it on a flat surface.
  4. Remove the protective cover from the printer.
  5. Peel off the orange colored protective tapes on the printer.
  1. Take the power cable provided in the printer package and link it to the respective port of the printer & power supply.
  2. Power on the printer by force pressing its power button.
  3. Configure the settings on the control panel of the printer.
  4. Unpack the ink cartridges and insert into the corresponding slots.
  5. Load the paper tray with suitable papers.
  6. Install the printer software on your computer and complete the first time Canon PIXMA MX492 setup printer.
