How to Setup HP Officejet 4400 Printer?

Unpack the HP Officejet 4400 printer
  • Once you complete the shipment process, check if the printer box is sealed properly and delivered without any damage.
  • Unseal the box and open it.
  • Ensure that the printer related components are supplied in the printer box.
  • Take the components and keep them aside.
  • Take the printer from the box and place them on a dust-free surface.
  • Remove the protective tapes and packing materials from inside & outside of the printer.
Power up the printer
  • Unpack the power cord provided in the printer box.
  • Connect the cable to the respective port of the printer & electrical wall outlet directly.
  • Power up the HP Officejet 4400 printer by force pressing its power button.
Load the input tray
  • Open the HP Officejet 4400 Setup printer paper tray extender.
  • Pull the paper stop present at the end of the paper tray extender.
  • Slide out the paper width guides.
  • Take a stack of white paper and keep in the tray with their print side facing down.
  • Gently push the paper forward until it stops.
  • Fix the sheets by adjusting the paper width guides.
Install HP Officejet 4400 Ink Cartridges
  • Open the access door of the cartridge.
  • Unpack the cartridges supplied in the printer box.
  • Never touch the contacts and ink nozzles of the cartridges.
  • Insert the cartridges into their slots.
  • Align the cartridges into their slots.
Download the printer software
  • Download and install recently released HP Officejet 4400 printer software on your computer.
  • Connect the devices after downloading the software and completing the printer software.
