How to Install HP Laserjet Pro M428fdn

  • Remove the wrappers over the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428FDN printer and keep it in a clean place with moderate temperature.
  • Pull the tray of the HP LaserJet Pro printer.
  • Slide the width guides of the tray outward.
  • Load a stack of sheets in the trays and fix them by adjusting the guides.
  • Take the AC power cord provided in the printer box and plug it to the power port of the printer & electrical outlet directly.
  • Turn up the HP Laserjet Pro MFP M428FDN printer by force pressing its power button.
  • On the control panel of the HP Laserjet Pro MFP N428FDN printer, configure the settings like the Language, Location, Printer Setup Environment.
  • Continue with the prompts on the control panel.
  • Tap the Setup icon on the panel.
  • Go to the Reports menu and click the Printer Configuration Report.
  • Update the firmware of the HP Laserjet Pro M428fdn Setup if needed.
  • Set up the fax function if necessary and complete the hardware setup of the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428FDN printer.
